Butler's Gin was inspired by a Victorian recipe, with a distinctive blend of lemongrass and cardamom at the heart of it. Five botanicals are finely balanced to create the base of this expression, into which the aforementioned lemongrass and cardamom are slowly infused. A light and fresh gin, produced in East London, with each bottle hand-signed by The Butler for a personal touch.
Lemongrass alongside lemon and lime zest appear first on an initially sweet nose with plenty of liquorice and a little cinnamon. Given time, cardamom comes to the fore.
Quite fragrant, perhaps a little coriander before sweet fennel and blue and pink Liquorice Allsorts take over. Cardamom again develops along with lime beneath the surface.
Short and fresh.
A tasty and well put together gin, although the juniper struggles to make its mark.

Delicious gin smooth and light. I won’t buy any other gin now. Flavours are subtle so not overpowering but just the right amount to give the gin a delicate and delicious flavour.
This is one of my all time favourite gins! I love the background story as well as the taste! It’s super versatile and works lovely in a range of cocktails.
Very harsh, acrid taste. No botanical notes discernible.
Used to be absolutely, uniquely wonderful but I think there has been a recipe change since the early days and now it's very bog standard, having recently bought 2 bottles, I'm very disappointed. It's like he forgot to put in the botanicals. No response to any emails either.
Got a bottle as a present and it's distinctly ordinary, so much so that I wonder exactly who wrote the various favourable reviews. It really is laughable to claim it is in the same league as Botanist or even Tanqueray Rangpur. If you drink your gin with tonic or bitters, save money and buy the gin from Aldi or Spar.
