Not impressed Carnt seem to get any of the poppy lotus leaf or dragon eye etc just a very dry gin very disappointing ..not impressed into today's envoi token when gin is so popular even got a local distillery opening haven't tried yet but being a gin lover won't be long so sorry but that was my opinion
A beautiful crisp citrus tang to Bulldog gin. Tasty and moreish.
It's a great classic gin. It's solid, balanced, an iron fist in a velvet glove. We shall never surrender!!!
Bought this on Holiday in the Lake District, and very glad I did. I admit I paid over the odds for it (purchased from a local supermarket, a northern Waitrose (if that makes sense), and I now realise it is available for about a tenner less, but hey ho, it was holiday. Onto the gin. the nose on opening the bottle has more complex aromas than other gins, with a subtle undercurrent of citrus and lime leaves. It was very different to the other gins I have purchased in the past. the flavour was, once again, more complex than other gins I have tried. mixed it with an ice cold Schweppes tonic and a twist of lemon zest and it was one of the best G&T's I've tried. so much so my wife and I managed to polish off nearly half the bottle between us fairly quickly! Have since tried looking for it locally (hence the hindsight of the cheaper price elsewhere) and will definitely be buying more!!
Smooth, multidimensional, aromatic, yet oh so clean on the palate. Delicious! I’m hooked.
