Brooklyn Gin is a rather vibrant gin from New York, made by three chaps using 'hand-cracked' juniper and fresh citrus peels (rather than frozen or dried peels). With big, well-rounded notes of citrus at its core, this works excellently in fruit-forward, lip-smacking cocktails.
Bold juniper as it opens, joined by lime, star anise and some fragrant orris.
A trio of citrus notes sit at its core (lime, orange and lemon), complimented by lavender and juniper.
Touches of hot coriander seed and dry juniper.
$32.44 - $71.30
This gin is so smooth that it’s delicious ‘on the rocks’. Fabulous price too, as it’s usually £40+ in the shops

What’s not to like. Beautiful gin. Just ordering my second bottle.
Sat here having had two negronis using this Brooklyn gin. The second I used a .75/.75/1 ratio in favour of the gin to really see how the flavours came out. They sang. Like a Hamilton choir on a broadway stage. Ok broadways not I’m Brooklyn, but you get my drift. Citrus yes. Rounded classic gin flavours yes. Not sure what the metallic stuff the other reviewers are chattering on about. I really really like this stuff. MUCH better than most guns you’ll find in the sub £30 mark. And flip me, just having that gorgeous strong bottle on your bar. Recommend.
Kind of a let down. Great aroma but too much citrus. Not enough gun roots. It does have a metslic finish.
