A fine and tasty gin which has been lauded by critics, Broker's is made with herbs, spices and fruits imported from three continents and blended to be extra dry - yes, that's right people, this is Martini heaven…
Very herbal, and almost medicinal but in a very good way. Hints of sticking plasters meld well with rosy red apples, tangy citrus and cardamom. Very inviting indeed…
Crisp and very dry, green oak, tree sap, parsley, lavendar soap and juniper.
Long and bittering with sweet spices and berries. Moreish!
Disclaimer: My local liquor store was selling everything at cost today to move inventory and this was the only gin I hadn't yet tried. I'm much more fond of small batch, craft distilleries and love the ones here in BC and Washington State. That said, this is the first London dry I've really loved. It's clean and crisp yet smooth at the same time. So far, I've only had it with Canada Dry Lemon Lime soda water and some lime but it has zero bitterness to it. I can still taste the notes underneath but it fits in well with the citrus. Too bad this wasn't a gin bars around here stocked!
A great gin. Love the flavour and aroms. Wish it was available in the shops
This is my new favorite gin, and I think it's the best gin, period. Honestly, I wasn't too thrilled with London Dry, which usually means a domineering juniper note, but this is so well balanced, so complex it's amazing, especially considering it's based on a classic recipe. There's nothing goofy in this gin --it's just old school gin done as a perfectionist would do it. This is also very smooth, with almost no bite.
Muy bueno, mejor que Bombay, Beefetear y Gordons, despues de Hendricks el mejor gin que he probado. Recomiendo.
Purchased on a whim from a Spanish supermarket, as I used to live just down the road from where it is distilled in Twickenham. This is everything a London Dry Gin ought to be. A very 'honest' and perfectly balanced flavour. As such it seems to go well with everything and is ideal for cocktails, as it has no domineering aspects to upset the balance. The heavily flavoured ( and expensive!) weirdos are enjoyable on an occasional basis, but Broker's is a perfect everyday high quality gin - it will never pall.
