All the way from Lincolnshire comes Pin Gin, a tasty tipple made by Bottomley Distillers. Look out for notes of black pepper, cucumber, rose, lavender, liquorice, cinnamon, almond and a flash of citrus. The botanicals are steeped for 24 hours before distillation occurs in a 35-litre alembic still, charmingly named Dotty.
The elegant floral notes arrive first, shortly followed by a kick of orange, lime and cinnamon. Later on, oily juniper develops alongside earthy notes of cucumber.

Friends and myself had our first Louth gin on Friday and absolutely loved it
I don't like the taste but then I don't like rose, lavender or cinnamon. It is smooth but I prefer my favourite Bombay Sapphire.
Strawberry Pin Gin is amazing. I tried it at the food and drink festival in Stamford. Unfortunately I have not been able to buy it again. Tried on line and also the cheese cellar in Stamford. Can you advise where I can purchase this again .
Fantastic tipple, complex, smooth, by no means ordinary. It’s worth the premium price because it is clearly a premium product. If you want cheap, buy Gordon’s, but cheap doesn’t mean value. Try the recommended combinations of tonic and garnish - this is seriously sophisticated flavor pairing.
