Need a gin that's perfect for Bramble cocktails? Bombay Sapphire has just the thing - Bombay Bramble Gin! Made with an infusion of blackberry and raspberry, this ought to be stunning in the eponymous (and aforementioned) cocktail, and should do admirably is all sorts of summery serves.
Rounded fresh fruit sweetness, balanced by a helping of peppery, woody juniper, plus a hint of citrus cutting through.
Love it ?
Tastes amazing! So fruity and great with lemonade !
I've read a bunch of reviews for this before I bought some from my local asda last saturday & it was awful. I took a small sip before mixing it & it tasted very sharp, I don't know about it tasting like old timey cough syrup but it certainly didn't smell like carrots. I tried it with some 7 up but it didn't entirely deal with the taste so I tried it with some grapefruit & peach tonic & that at least made it drinkable. I'm definitely not getting it again & as for brambles, you'd be better off either getting one of the premade ones in a plastic shaker from funkin cocktails or making your own.
It tastes very chemical
I found this gin way too sweet and artificial tasting. Was like a flu lozenge. I tried it with soda water and tonic. Was slightly more palatable with the soda but wouldn't buy or recommend it.
