Up in Lancashire, the folks at Bashall Spirits had a gaze around the moorland surrounding their distillery to find inspiration for this London Dry Gin. It boasts 11 botanicals including cranberry, elderflower and caraway, which represent the native woodland and hedgerow plants found in the Moor Piece Nature Reserve. Hints of sweetness run through this otherwise juniper forward gin, making it a rather good candidate for a Martini.
Fragrant citrus sits alongside resinous juniper, hint of liquorice and floral elderflower, with a dash of tart red fruit on the finish.
