A Pink Pepper Gin from French producers Audemus, situated in the heart of Cognac. Made with hand-picked pink peppercorns and a handful of other tasty botanicals (including honey, vanilla and cardamom - all of which are macerated separately then distilled under low pressure and temperature). You'll find a good juxtaposition between sweet and spicy notes in this one...
Plenty of peppery aromas waft up, spicy but sweet at the same time. These touches are well balanced with cinnamon and clean, herbal notes.
An initial rush of pink peppercorn, followed by pine-y juniper and honey. Altogether quite a warming gin.
Spicy pepper lasts.

A surprisingly smooth gin. Distilled in France, with added botanicals of juniper, black cardamom, pink peppercorns, cinnamon, honey, vanilla and tonka beans. It is a complex gin, rich and oily, smooth, sweet, and spicy. Serve with Fevertree Premium Tonic, crushed pink peppercorns, and a twist of lemon peel. For a different serve, try it with Luscombe Madagascan Vanilla Soda, a cinnamon stick to stir, and the oil from lemon zest on the glass rim.
Outstanding, I tried this when I was in the UK and met one of the company owners. Can’t wait until we can get it in Australia
Outstanding! Packed full of pepper on the nose but full of tonka bean sweetness in the mouth.
I was initially bought this gin (along with a few others) as a birthday present (I am a BIG gin lover!) Pink Pepper was by far my favourite - I’ve found it’s particularly beautiful with a slice of orange, strawberry or pink grapefruit but is also lovely just on its own. I have now received this as a Christmas present and a present for my latest birthday and have been so happy to see the gorgeous pink writing staring back at me when I’ve unwrapped it. It’s perfect for a fresh summer drink or a winter warmer with its peppery spice coming through nicely and it’s not too overpowering like some gins I have tried. I would recommend this to any gin lover as it’s so so delicious and smells divine! Fingers crossed I will get some for Christmas from my friends and family as I am running low!
Pink Pepper is simply divine... truly unique with a tantalising taste! Neat, on the rocks, straight up, in a cocktail or with tonic..... Spoil your Gin loving friends with a bottle, it’s the perfect pressie!
