A Japanese inspired gin made with rice based spirit, juniper and botanicals such as dragon fruit, kumquat, citrus and ginger.
I first came across this in one of the alcohol warehouses where I live in Dubai and bought it on a whim. I was not disappointed. It is one of the best flavoured gins that I have come across - has a real pleasant and clean taste to it and does not have the hard edge of some of the gins that are being turned out these days. I've sent this as a present to family a number of times and everyone has only positive things to say about it. I would not recommend mixing it with orange juice as the 3 star review suggests, buy a decent tonic in a glass bottle to mix it with.
The classy bottle colors caught my attention. For literally $1.00 more than the price of just the bottle alone I bought the gift set which included a nice jewel cut glass in a matching blue color. The price was very reasonable. The first taste was very clean and strong. Very floral. Much more bold than Bombay. Would I buy it again? Probably not. It mixes well with OJ.
