Produced at former hotel Peebles Hydro, 1881 Gin is named for the year it was founded. This Subtly Smoked expression has a good helping of pink grapefruit alongside a delicately smoked palate, blended with water from the distillery's very own private spring. Simply pair with tonic and enjoy the complex, smoky spirit.
A very subtle undertone of smoke supports vibrant grapefruit citrus, a touch of cinnamon and a strong juniper finish.
Accidentally drank my mates whole bottle. And oh my how delicious. Now need to sort out a replacement!
