La Blanche de Christian Drouin is an eau de vie de cidre, made with a selection of cider apples. Bright and floral, this vibrant spirit is definitely one for any apple fans out there, as the fruit's characteristic flavour profile comes through clearly. Suitable for enjoying simply over ice, or used as the base of a cocktail. We reckon it might do well with tonic for a refreshing autumnal long drink, too...
Crisp and fresh with apples, spring blossom, a soft flutter of dry pepper and some citrus sharpness.
I bought this in duty free about 4 years ago and quite honestly could not understand it at all. Now I am on the last drop and I get it and it is exquisite. Tiny sips, scented, apple blossom lingers on the nose for minutes. I want more of it.
