Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka comes from an innovative vodka farm distillery in the scenic North Yorkshire countryside. With a design that mirrors the old Dutch barn that once stood there and an orchard providing the apples that are the base of the spirit, Ellers Farm Distillery is an impressive operation.
One that attracted the attention of comedian Ricky Gervais, who in November 2023 announced he would be joining as the new co-owner. Citing a desire to work closely with a sustainable and ethical spirits business that does good for the planet, Gervais took on the role of creative leadership and is tasked with building global brand awareness.

Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka
Don't be fooled by the name – Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka actually hails from North Yorkshire and takes its name from the Dutch barn found on the farm where the distillery is based.
Not only is it distilled from British apples (blended with a small proportion of potato spirit), but the distillery is even carbon neutral, which is awesome. What's more, the bottle is brown not just because it's made from 60% recycled glass, but because it also helps protect the precious vodka inside. They really did think of everything!

You want to make some easy but cracking cocktails? Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka provides the recipes for an upgraded Vodka Tonic and a refreshing Sour.
Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka Tonic
Ingredients
100ml Mediterranean tonic
2 Dashes orange bitters
Pink grapefruit slice
Rosemary sprig
Method
1. Pour Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka over ice into a wine glass and top with tonic.
2. Add 2 dashes of orange bitters and garnish with a slice of pink grapefruit and a rosemary sprig.
Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka Sour
Ingredients
20ml Lemon juice
20ml Sage-infused syrup
5 Raspberries
1/2 Egg white
Sage
Lemon wheel
Method
1. Muddle 4 raspberries in a shaker, then add the Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka, lemon juice, sage syrup and egg white.
2. Dry shake all ingredients without ice to create a froth, then add ice and wet shake all ingredients.
3. Strain over ice into a tumbler glass and garnish with a fresh lemon wheel, sage and a raspberry.
