Smoked Apple Cup

Serves 1

Ingredients:

50ml Fresh apple juice

50ml Ginger beer

25ml Freshly squeezed lime juice

50ml Cask Edit Elements of Islay

Demerara vanilla sugar to taste


Method:

Gently warm all the ingredients in a small saucepan and strain into an enamel mug for a true autumnal, outdoorsy cocktail (or stir everything with ice and strain into a tumbler if you want a refreshing treat).

Garnish to your taste with cinnamon sticks, star anise, or slices of red apple.

Jura Wassail

Serves 4

Ingredients:

1ltr of unfiltered apple juice

1/2 Inch nub of fresh ginger, peeled and grated or finely minced

2 Lemon slices

1 Cinnamon stick

200ml Jura Seven Wood


Method:

Combine all of the non-alcoholic ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil then turn the heat off, cover, and allow to steep for 30-45 minutes.

Strain into mugs for serving (keep the cinnamon and lemon for garnishing later).

Pour 50ml of Jura into each mug and garnish with slices of lemon and cinnamon sticks.
