Verdant Spirits

Verdant Spirits is the first commercial distillery in Dundee in almost 200 years. Founded by Andrew Mackenzie in 2017, it is in a Victorian engine house. This building was once part of Dundee's jute and weaving industry. After much planning, Verdant Spirit Co. revived a part of history.

Verdant Dry Gin

This is Verdant's main product. Made in small batches in 'Little Eddie', their pot still, it has a juniper-led aroma. Citrus notes add freshness. The taste has earthy spices. The botanicals are juniper, coriander seed, bitter orange, and grains of paradise.

It is best served with orange zest, light tonic, and ice.

Verdant Pink Gin

The Pink Gin balances dry gin and sweet berries. It has aromas of fresh red berries. The taste blends baked and ripe berries. It has a dry and lively finish. It's great for summer drinks and with Prosecco.

Verdant Light Rum

This is a blend of pot, column, and lightly oaked rums. Each bottle is unique and signed by Andrew Mackenzie. Enjoy it with ice and lime or in a Daiquiri.

Verdant Spirits Co. is innovative yet mindful of its history. They plan to add a visitor centre. This will let more people learn about their craft and story.
