Raasay

Situated on the isle of Raasay in the Inner Hebrides, the Isle of Raasay Distillery opened its doors in 2017, ready to start distilling its whisky and gin. The first release from the team was Isle of Raasay Gin, which was also the first legal spirit distilled on the island (though there is a long history of illicit distilling on Raasay going back centuries!). In 2021, Raasay's very first single malt Scotch whisky was released to the world, boasting a lightly peated style to it. Excitingly, the distillery has also got some cool plans for whiskies made using barley grown on the island too!
