Leticia Hermosillo Ravelero
Leticia Hermosillo Ravelero is a Tequila distillery (NOM1477) that creates the Cava de Oro brand. It was back in the 1990s when Don Gildardo Partida Meléndez and Doña Leticia Hermosillo Ravelero started planting, harvesting, growing, and marketing their agave, Blue Tequilana Weber made for Tequila specifically. In 1999, they began constructing Casa Cava de Oro next to the agave field and a year later the first alembic still to distilled Tequila was installed. Today the factory is the first distiller on the Tequila Route, at Km 32 of the Guadalajara-Tepic highway, the gateway to the agave landscape in El Arenal, Jalisco. The founder’s son Alberto Partida is now the lead Tequila maker and he developed a spirit aged in ex-red wine barrels. By 2012, the range you see today was formed.
