IrishAmerican Whiskey

IrishAmerican is a whiskey brand with 200 years of history. It's on Achill Island, Ireland, where the microclimate is ideal for making whiskey.

The brand has won many awards. These include Double Gold, Silver, and Best in Show at the WSWA from 2017 to 2019. They also won Double Silver at the San Francisco Spirit Awards in 2018.

Their IrishAmerican Classic Blend uses an old recipe. It's 70% malted barley and 30% grain. They double-distil it in copper pot stills. The whiskey is non-chill filtered for full flavour. It matures in first-fill ex-American bourbon casks. A bit of 10-year-old Single Malt is added. This makes a rich, vibrant, and aromatic whiskey with a hint of spices.

They also have a 10-year-old variant. It's made in small batches with the best malted barley and grain. Like the Classic Blend, it's matured in bourbon casks and non-chill filtered. This whiskey is rich and full-bodied, with floral and cinnamon spice hints.

The Founder's Reserve Cask Strength 19-Year-Old Single Malt is their top product. John McKay, the founder, chose it. It's matured for 19 years in Jamaican Rum Casks. This gives it a deep, rich flavour with citrus undertones and a fresh aroma. It's smooth with a long finish. Only 625 bottles were made, marking John McKay's birthday on 06/25/1960. It's a special part of Irish whiskey history.
