Estía No.7 Botanical Gin features a very intriguing botanical at its core - olive brine! Created as a way to avoid wasting leftover olive brine, this gin also features apple juice, citrus and some more traditional gin botanicals, all combined with British wheat grain spirit. It's not an all-out olive bonanza, but there is a subtle, delicate, fascinating salinity to this gin, juxtaposed with sweetness from the fruit and soft, earthy spices.
Bright orange and lime, with creamy apple notes bringing more sweetness. Juniper, cassia and a touch of mint. Little hints of sea salt and basil leaf linger.
I tasted this at a catering show this week. Didn't know it was available here. It's very different. A stunning gin and every bit as smooth as they say. I usually have tonic but this was good on its own. Would be great with food like tapas.

Smooth doesn't do it justice. Doesn't even taste like alcohol! I put mine in the freezer and drink neat over ice but makes an incredible g&t.
