Sierra Tequila is a renowned brand in the global Tequila market, with its trademark sombrero lid making it a recognizable customer on many bars. It’s produced in Guadalajara, Jalisco – the very epicentre of tequila production – from the blue agave plant using traditional methods. The harvested agave piñas are slow-cooked in stone ovens,followed by fermentation, distillation, and finally ageing for the reposado and añejo varieties. Sierra Tequila's range spans from the crisp and clear Silver, which is unaged and perfect for cocktails, to the Reposado, which is rested in oak barrels for several months, imparting a smoother texture and a hint of woody flavours.
