Bigallet Liqueurs

Bigallet, a famous French syrup and liqueur producer, started in 1872. It's in Virieu-sur-Bourbre, between Lyon and Grenoble. The Bigallet family has run it for generations. Félix Bigallet founded the company, focusing on liqueurs with Alpine flavours.

Félix used local herbs and botanicals in his recipes. The company has modernised over the years, but it still makes liqueurs that reflect nature's balance and harmony.

Making the Liqueurs

Bigallet’s products use natural ingredients for pure, authentic flavours. This approach is part of the company's philosophy. The liqueurs give a sense of the French Alps, offering more than just taste. They provide an experience.

China-China, a key Bigallet product, mixes sweet and bitter oranges with various botanicals. This creates a rich, unique liqueur. Another product, Thym Liqueur, infuses thyme for a subtle yet deep flavour.

Bigallet follows traditional methods in its production process. It carefully selects herbs and botanicals. These ingredients are then macerated or percolated. This extracts their essence. After blending and ageing, the flavours mature. This mix of tradition and quality has made Bigallet well-known in France and globally. It offers both traditional and new liqueurs.

Each bottle of Bigallet liqueur brings the French Alps to the drinker. The sweet, herbal, and floral notes combine with the spirit's richness. They showcase the environments where the ingredients come from.

Recently, Bigallet has reached the international market. This lets more people try French Alpine liqueurs. These liqueurs are popular with enthusiasts and mixologists. They are known for their quality, complexity, and depth in cocktails and food.
