Ampersand Gin

Ampersand is a London Dry Gin made in England's second-oldest distillery. Osborne launched it in 2015. It was a time when gin was very popular in Spain, second only to whiskey. Ampersand mixes English distilling traditions with Spanish influence. They use six natural botanicals. These include juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, Java pepper, and lemon and Spanish orange barks. The hand-peeled, sun-dried oranges and lemons are key to its flavour.

Their London Dry Gin follows high English quality standards. But it also has a strong Spanish link. While distilled in England, its identity is partly Spanish. They bottle Ampersand at Osborne's in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz. Spanish elements include the citrus fruits, the stopper made in Galicia, and the bottle from Segovia.

The spirit is clear with a strong citrus smell. It starts with a citrus taste and ends with a slight spice. This balance makes it good for various cocktails or to drink on its own.

Ampersand has added three new flavours: Strawberry, Melon, and Blueberries. Each one adds something new to the classic gin. They show Ampersand's aim to innovate in the gin market. They mix traditional methods with new flavours. Ampersand is a gin that brings together English distilling skills and Spanish elements.
