The Dalmore Decades 1979 – ‘Curating Exquisite Casks’
A 40 year old single malt, celebrating the longstanding relationship between The Dalmore and González Byass. This 1979 vintage was allowed to mature in a Matusalem Oloroso sherry butt, followed by a final maturation in an extremely rare Graham’s Port Vintage 1952 cask. Brimming with unctuous dried fruit and nut character, with rich notes of maple syrup and tropical charred pineapple.

The Dalmore Decades 1980 – ‘Unbroken Chain of Visionaries’
Tremendous 1980 vintage single malt, marking the arrival of master distiller Richard Paterson at the distillery. Turning the traditional pattern of maturation on its head, this expression was first matured in bourbon casks, then moved into Matusalem sherry butts, before switching back to bourbon casks for a five year finishing period. This brave move has achieved an invigorating result, with an ingenious balance of malt, oak, marzipan, and cocoa.

The Dalmore Decades 1995 – ‘The Creation of an Icon’
Step forward another iconic decade in the history of The Dalmore – the 90's saw the introduction of the minimalist bell-shaped bottle, inspired by the shapely curves of its stills. Matured in ex-bourbon casks, this 1995 vintage spent a finishing period in outstanding Tintilla de Rota Port pipes, bringing brilliant jammy red berry quality alongside sweet poached fruit pastries.

The Dalmore Decades 2000 – ‘Into the New Millennium’
Where were you at 12.02am on Saturday 1st January 2000? Probably watching fireworks, or like us, checking to see if your Tamagotchi had survived entry into the new millennium. In the meantime, The Dalmore stills were fired up ready and at precisely 12.03am, it officially became the first distillery in Scotland to produce a new spirit in the third millennium! This 2000 vintage spent two decades maturing in a Matusalem Oloroso sherry butt, imparting a wealth of dark cherry chocolate, tarte tatin, and earthen spice.
