Hermitage has bottled a host of incredible brandies, but this 65 Year Old Petite Champagne Cognac is a definite stand out. This exceptional bottling was made with Ugni Blanc grapes from Reaux in the western side of the Petite Champagne cru and distilled in large 25 hectolitre stills. It was then matured in oak barrels for 65 years in tiny barriques (small barrels that hold no more than about 50 litres). Sixty-five years. Expect spectacular things.
