A Cognac that celebrates the Louis XV's decision to grant a young Rémy Martin the right to plant new vines on his land (banned in France at the time) with the Accord Royal in 1738. It's said that the Cognac was enjoyed at the King's court at the time, with Rémy having planted his first vineyard in 1724. This unique blend has been made with majesty very much in mind.
Classic Rémy Sidecar recipe:
- Simply pour 30ml Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal, 20ml Cointreau, and 10ml lemon juice into a shaker filled with ice.
- Strain and pour into a coupette glass.
- Finish with orange peel for a rich flavour or lemon peel for freshness.
Ripe fruit and vanilla with a slightly herbal vinous note.
Rounded and balanced vanilla and dried fruits.
Pronounced, but not overpowering, oak finish.
Rémy with a little extra majestic gusto thrown in.
A stunning upgrade over the VSOP featuring all the hallmarks of Remy Martin but with a deeper more fruit forward rounded profile. Delicious.
Always have loved this, it is a little different to the usual Remy, well worth the additional cost
Sure it ticks alot of people's boxs.Dont diske it.My taste buds drawn more to Hine Rare or Frapin.
I love it
I'm a single malt girl normally but the son loves cognac and Remy so bought this to treat him and wow. So much better than the standard. Very smooth, rich and sweet. A nice change from Scotch. Will always have a bottle of this now.
