The Michel Forgeron Barrique range lets Cognac enthusiasts discover the intricate details of what Cognac of a particular single vintage tastes like, often presented at higher ABVs than you'd usually see this French spirit bottled at. This is the 1988 vintage.
Pears, raisins, nectarines and hints of fresh cooking herbs (a very subtle hint of wild garlic comes in alongside a waft of elegant rancio).
