“Tried this some years ago and the wife loved it, she only ever drank a brandy starting with Cor before but this is her (and my favourite). Smooth moresome flavour, deffo one to savour and not throw down the neck, yes it's way above price than others but this definitely is "what you pay, you get" HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ???”

Description

Made exclusively with Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie - the finest cru in the Cognac region. This includes a good amount of cognacs aged for between 10 and 20 years, and the average age is rumoured to be as much as 15 years! Maxime Trijol's VSOP Grande Champagne was awarded the Brandy Trophy at the 2003 International Spirits Challenge.

Nose

Vanilla, dried fruit and a little apricot.

Palate

Full-bodied and rich, with orchard fruit, ripe peaches and refined oak.

Finish

Baking spice prickles away for a while.

Beautiful

I received this as a birthday gift and oh my...what a gift it has been. This is a beautiful spirit. I've tried more expensive XO's but I keep coming back to this one. It is soft, delicate and delicious. It has now become a staple spirit in my arsenal. Get this cognac. You will not be disappointed.
