Trijol has built up a great reputation for quality over its long history and this cognac is a perfect example of the standards they set. It's produced in St Martial Sur Né, in the heart of the Cognac region, and blended by the current head of the company, Jean-Jacques Trijol.
A floral, fruity bouquet showing some subtle oaky spice.
Quite long on the palate, good balance and harmony between the fruit and spirit give this cognac structure and finesse.
The finish plays out over notes of nutmeg and orange caramel.
Very smooth cognac with a sophisticated sweetness.

A mild nose and smooth taste. By normal VS standards a good and competent cognac. The price elevates it to serious competition and it does not justify the extra, say £10, at which it is advertised. Good nonetheless.
a good cognac for the price, pretty smooth
A VERY FINE DROP FOR COST LOVELY AND SMOOTH WOULD BUY AGAIN
