This classic VS cognac from Martell is largely made with Ugni Blanc grapes from the Borderies region. The results are fruity and woody and quite complex.
Woody, slightly floral nose. A little cinnamon and fruit.
Dried fruit and toasty oak. Develops on custard and walnut.
Fruity finish with residual spices.
I bought this as I fancied a change from my usual rum or whisky. This is fantastic value, the taste is deep, rich and smooth, no mixer required just an ice cube or two
