Yet another impressively well-aged Grande Champagne Cognac bottled up by Hermitage right here - this time, the spirit was distilled all the way back in 1952! If you happen to have an affection for very old Cognac, we highly recommend checking out the fantastic finds from Hermitage like this one, and they too are very keen of sniffing out some absolutely incredible expressions.
Red berries and dark cherries, with dark chocolate, black coffee and some orange peel.
Dark roast coffee, burnt toffee and even a little coal dust initially, quite a bit of tannin, but then the fruits come through, peach, roasted plum and citrus, and it becomes sweeter with time in the glass.
