Very interesting VS
The first impression is quite subtle with the aroma of cherry jam, oak, white grapes, sherry and very dominant menthol. Some rede currants in the background, too, and along the way a little note of plums.
The palate changes quickly: at first it's white wine, then cherry jam, menthol, fresh strawberries and a bit of red currants, then turns to sherry with plums in the background, leaves with a dry sherry-sweet note and an aftertaste of menthol, cherries, oak and dry white wine.
Finish is long lasting that I found to be quite nice for a VS.
General opinion: very easy to sip, not too complex, fresh and has a lot of aroma. Nice for a mixer, would picture myself drinking Sazerac with this. Lacks some oaky aromas, like young cognac tends to do, and may become repetitive after a while, meaning that only one glass will be okay for a good experience. Needs time to show it's true potential. But anyways, nice cognac in all, a very good way to begin a journey in the world of spirits.
Conclusion: 87/100, delightful, light and generally a nice purchase. Practical for a beginner or someone, who wants a classic drink.

Give it a try!
This was the first alcoholic drink I ever bought for myself when I turned 18.
Do I think I made a good choice? Absolutely!
All I can say is that it has a sweetness and warmth with subtle spicy notes, that, for some reason, makes me think of Christmas whenever I take a sip.
Drink this neat on a cold day and you'll feel bliss engulf your soul :)
