
Another wonderful Cognac from Frapin's Millésime series, this particular expression has seen over a quarter of a century of ageing! Distilled back in 1992, the brandy spent the next 26 years resting in the dry Marie Frapin cellar on the Frapin estate in Grande Champagne. Eventually, the impressive Cognac was bottled up in a limited release of just 3,000 bottles, full of dried fruit and citrus.
So fruity and fresh, fresh apricots not dried, strawberry, floral, dark chocolate and toffee, plus aromatic notes of tobacco and orange peel.
Super zingy: citrus, grassy, peppery, lots of eau de vie character, with that strawberry fruity note coming through. In the background some toffee lurking.
Very very long, lingering toffee, tobacco and citrus peel.
