A classic VSOP cognac, produced with grapes from four crus – Fins Bois, Borderies, Petite Champagne, and Grande Champagne, matured for up to 12 years in a selection of Courvoisier's own proprietary barrels. With layers of balanced oak, stone fruits, coffee, and gentle spice, it's a superbly versatile Cognac for both neat sipping and cocktails.
Whole coffee beans, mint leaves, kumquat, and red grape notes appear at first. Give it a minute and more savoury elements appear, with hints of buttered brown bread and a little whiff of sawdust.
More coffee notes as it opens (this would be a really good partner to espresso after a big meal). Develops touches of brown sugar, waxy apple peels, sweet pea, and a fragrant oakiness.
Ooh, a nice waft of almost smoky cinnamon on the finish. Slowly becomes sweeter with fresh pear and gummy bears.

Well, what can I say!! Absolutely delicious. I usually do not buy French cognac, but this Courvoisier VSOP is magnificent. So many different aromas as you take a sip. I always drink Cognac without anything not even ice. I certainly would recommend to friends and family.
This Courvoisier is exceptional. Complex enough to drink neat. Intense floral aromas of jasmine and roses, dry stone fruits and ginger. A pleasure for my palate!
We’ve recently used this cognac at a cocktail night, tastes great with sugar, dash of bitters and topped up with lime and lemonade. My partner also tried some on the rocks and said it’s an easy drink, fruity and smooth.
Really enjoyed this drink, it was fragrant and smooth enough to drink neat, but also really nice with ice and mixer, such as lemonade. I also tried mixing it into cocktails with a friend, for which I found some some recipes on the Courvoisier website, which we both really enjoyed too. Would definitely purchase this!
Really enjoyed this, a lovely, smooth, sippable drink. I enjoyed it after a meal on its own (which was great) and then in a cocktail ( a sidecar) equally delicious. Would recommend
