This limited-edition Caol Ila single malt, distilled in 2008 and aged 16 years in a Moscatel sweet wine barrique, was bottled in 2025 as a festive release of just 278 bottles. Bursting with bonfire smoke, raisins, and fudge, it’s a rich and peaty treat that's perfect for fireside sipping. Forget the coal – this bold Christmas dram is whisky with serious festive flair.

Nose

Hearty and robust, with waves of smoked caramel, sweet peat, and sticky ginger loaf, backed by treacle toffee, dandelion and burdock, earthy roasted chestnuts, and a touch of seaweed.

Palate

Soft, creamy notes of rum and raisin fudge open the way for bonfire ash and grilled stone fruits, chewy toffee, apple cake, and chocolate peanuts. There are hints of flamed orange peel, and sweet, gently drying oak, with balanced peat smoke riding throughout.

Finish

Fruity, sweet, and smoky, with floral honey, crumbly fudge, plump sultanas, elegant yet pronounced smoke, and subtle hints of mulled berries.

This festive Benrinnes single malt, distilled in 2010 and matured for 15 years in a single oloroso sherry hogshead, was bottled as a limited Christmas 2025 release of just 406 bottles. Brimming with rich notes of cocoa, marmalade, and spice, it’s the perfect dram for holiday indulgence. Forget candy canes – this splendidly seasonal Speysider is a true adult treat.

Nose

Toffee pennies, vanilla shortbread, rice pudding, and custard, with toasted marzipan, sweet oak, and candied orange peels in tow.

Palate

Silky sweet, with syrupy, spongy sticky toffee pudding and Werther's Originals, followed by honeyed prunes, candied almonds, and robust, toasty oak.

Finish

Milk chocolate, thick-cut marmalade, and festive spices wrap things up, with lingering layers of cinnamon, cocoa, and orange peels.
