This big ol' bottle right here is a jeroboam full of Pol Roger's fantastic Brut Réserve! A benchmark for Champagne, it's made with 30 different still base wines, and built around a mixture of 33% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 33% Pinot Meunier grapes. Perfect for big celebrations.
Ripe pear, green apple and spring blossom. Subtle vanilla elements start to sneak in after a moment or two.
Fresh, crumbly biscuits with a drizzle of honey. Stone fruit develops, particularly white peach. Quite fine bubbles, very charming indeed.
