Champagne

A vintage Pol Roger is always worth getting excited about. 2015 was a warm, dry vintage producing lots of high quality ripe grapes. It's more similar to the style of the opulent 2012 than the lean 2013. This is made from 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay. It was aged on its lees for five and half years. This is a bold rich Champagne that's great to drink now but will keep for many years. Though you probably won't be able to keep your hands off it.
Lots of ripe apple and nectarine fruit with toasted croissant, Marmite, and very fine bubbles.
