
This XO Calvados from Domaine Coquerel was made from approximately 40 different apple and pear varieties, and naturally fermented for a minimum of 30 days. After distillation in traditional copper stills the Calvados was rested in French oak foudres for three to six months before maturing for six years in French oak pommeau barrels.

Average. An average Calvados is a flipping decent drink, it just isn’t worth this price. It basically tastes the same as Busnel VSOP, and is NOWHERE NEAR the quality of the similarly priced Maison Sassy XO.
