Terms for #WhiskySanta


  1. 1. THE PROMOTER: Master of Malt (MoM) is the promoter of the #WhiskySanta campaign (#WhiskySanta). MoM is a trading name of Atom Supplies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 03193057) and having its registered address at Unit 1 Ton Business Park, 2-8 Morley Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1RA, UK. 
  2. 2. THESE TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY: By participating in any part of #WhiskySanta, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy (and the way we process personal data), and agree that these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy are binding to them. MoM reserves the right to amend these terms and to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the #WhiskySanta campaign at any time.
  3. 3. WHAT IS #WHISKYSANTA: Only one of the best and most award-winning festive campaigns there is! Running up to Christmas 2025, it’s that time of the year again, and #WhiskySanta will be granting over £750,000 worth of gifts (subject to availability, this budget limit, and these terms). #WhiskySanta consists of: (i) #WhiskySanta Checkout Giveaway; (ii) Ask #WhiskySanta – Wishes; and (iii) Ask #WhiskySanta – Super Wishes. #WhiskySanta Checkout Giveaway are gifts given to shoppers when checkout is completed. Ask #WhiskySanta Wishes are wishes granted once a day for things available on the MoM website and Ask #WhiskySanta Super Wishes are superer wishes granted at chosen intervals for specific bottles as specified on the #WhiskySanta webpage, MoM Blog and/or relevant social media platforms. 
  4. 4. ELIGIBILITY: #WhiskySanta is only open to private individuals acting in their capacity as private consumers who are 18 years old or older (and of legal drinking age to purchase alcohol in their country of residence) and are residents of countries to which MoM is currently able to ship to (or in relation to orders placed for delivery to those countries to which we can ship). You can view the countries that we are currently able to ship to here. Ineligible entries or orders (howsoever received) will be discarded. #WhiskySanta is not open to any employees of MoM or any of its associated companies (nor their immediate families). MoM reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) at any time and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual or entrant who it believes has breached any of these terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or improper conduct which may undermine the fair and proper conduct of the #WhiskySanta campaign, and to discard any entry which reflects any such conduct.
  5. 5. #WHISKYSANTA PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: (1) #WhiskySanta Checkout Giveaway and Ask #WhiskySanta - Wishes will run from 11:00:01 UK time on 3 November 2025 to 11:59:59 UK time on 24 December 2025 inclusive; and (2) Ask #WhiskySanta - Super Wishes will run from 11:59:59 UK time on 10 November 2025 to 11:59:59 UK time on 24 December inclusive, (Promotional Period).
  6. 6. HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
  7. i. #WHISKYSANTA CHECKOUT GIVEAWAY: To enter, entrants must make and complete a valid purchase on masterofmalt.com within the #WhiskySanta Checkout Giveaway Promotional Period (i.e. payment and order confirmation for the purchase must be received before the expiry of the #WhiskySanta Checkout Giveaway Promotional Period) in accordance with MoM’s Consumer Terms of Business (each an eligible order). Orders placed using bank transfer as the chosen payment method, which results in a delay of payment completed outside of the #WhiskySanta promotional period, are not eligible orders or entries. Multiple entries are permitted, encouraged even! Any determination whether a purchase is an eligible order will be made by MoM in its sole discretion.
  8. ii. ASK #WHISKYSANTA WISHES AND SUPER WISHES: 
  • To enter, entrants must, within the relevant Promotional Period, make a wish on either Instagram, Facebook, or X for a product available on the MoM website or for products otherwise identified on the MoM Blog as suggested gifts for Ask #WhiskySanta and Ask #WhiskySanta - Super Wishes. Wishes will be valid if they are made through Instagram Story posts or regular posts on Instagram, Facebook, or X and meet the following requirements set out below:
  • For posts which are not Instagram Story posts, simply make a wish using the hashtag #WhiskySanta.
  • For Instagram Story posts, you must make a wish by tagging @masterofmalt in your Story posts; hashtag #WhiskySanta is welcomed, but not essential here.
  • Wishes posted only on the MoM Blog (and not also posted on the relevant social media platforms) shall not be counted.
  • Wishes must be made in a regular social media post or Instagram Story post. Any wishes made in any comment sections or elsewhere shall not be counted. For the avoidance of doubt, any wishes made in a Facebook story post shall not be counted.
  • No purchase is necessary. Multiple entries are permitted, encouraged even! Each wish made in accordance with this paragraph will be an eligible entry. Any determination whether a wish is an eligible entry will be made by MoM in its sole discretion.
  1. 7. WINNERS: All winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries throughout the promotional period in accordance with these terms.
  2. i. #WHISKYSANTA CHECKOUT GIVEAWAY: Winning orders will be selected at random intervals from all eligible orders successfully completed during the promotional period, subject to availability, the budget limit set out, and these terms.
  3. ii. ASK #WHISKYSANTA WISHES: All winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries throughout the relevant Promotional Period in accordance with these terms. At least one wish (and often more!) across all selected social media platforms will be selected each day from all eligible wishes made on the previous day (in the case of Instagram Story wishes, they will be selected from all eligible wishes made in the preceding 24 hours). For wishes made on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (i.e. the weekends), wishes will still be selected from wishes made on the respective previous days, but the winners may be announced after the weekend on the immediately following Monday.
  4. iii. ASK #WHISKYSANTA SUPER WISHES: All winners will be selected at random at intervals chosen by MoM from all eligible entries throughout the relevant Promotional Period in accordance with these terms. The first available Super Wish will be released on Monday 10 November 2025 then granted on Friday 14 November 2025, chosen from all eligible entries submitted between 12:00 on Monday 10 November 2025 until 23:59 on Thursday 13 November 2025. One Super Wish will be granted each week following the same time pattern throughout the promotional period.
  5. 8. THE GIFTS: All #WhiskySanta gifts are selected and supplied by MoM; they are strictly non-transferable and not negotiable. No equivalent cash alternative shall be available and no items can be substituted or exchanged for any other items. MoM reserves the right to offer a substitute gift of equivalent or greater value in its sole discretion. The selection and allocation of gifts will be at MoM’s sole discretion.
  6. i. #WHISKYSANTA CHECKOUT GIVEAWAY:
  • Gifts will be  either a free physical gift (most likely a 3cl dram or 5cl miniature of delicious spirit!) added to your order; or a full refund of your entire order (including any delivery charges) . There will be only one gift allocated to each winning order.
  • As an additional courtesy of #WhiskySanta, any eligible orders placed by UK residents during the #Whisky Santa Checkout Giveaway Promotional Period will receive a promotional code as a gift as well:
  • If your basket value (excluding shipping charges) is below £99, you will be allocated a £5 promotional code. If your basket value (excluding shipping charges) exceeds £99, you may be allocated either a £10, £20, or £50 promotional code.
  • The promotional code is only redeemable on masterofmalt.com at checkout towards a future order.
  • The promotional code must be redeemed before 23:59:59 31 January 2026, after which, the promotional code will expire and no longer be redeemable. 
  • In order to redeem the £5 promotional codes, the basket value of the order (excluding shipping charges) which you redeem the code against must be at least £50.
  • In order to redeem the £10, £20, or £50 promotional codes, the basket value of the order (excluding shipping charges) which you redeem the code against must be at least £99.
  1. ii. ASK #WHISKYSANTA WISHES AND SUPER WISHES: The gift for each relevant wish will normally be the product that was wished for.
  2. 9. CLAIMING YOUR GIFTS: Please claim your gifts in accordance with this paragraph. 
  3. i. #WHISKYSANTA CHECKOUT GIVEAWAY:
  • You will be notified of the allocated gift on the order confirmation page. 
  1. ii. ASK #WHISKYSANTA WISHES AND SUPER WISHES: We will use reasonable endeavours to announce the winners on the #WhiskySanta webpage, MoM Blog and/or relevant social media platforms. We will make all reasonable efforts to contact each winner via direct messages on the social media platform on which the wishes were made. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their gift within 5 calendar days of the announcement date, we reserve the right to offer the gift to another eligible entrant in our sole and absolute discretion.
  2. 10. ENTRY CONTENT: Let’s be sensible, people. By commenting on our website and on social channels which we are running #WhiskySanta on, you agree to only post comments that comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Any post which depicts, describes, encourages, endorses or normalises the excessive consumption of alcohol, the consumption of alcohol by those under the age of 25, anti-social behaviour (including any criminal activity) or irresponsible drinking (including rapid drinking), which links the consumption of alcohol with popularity or other social success, bravado, technical skill, good fortune, the operation of vehicles or other machinery or therapeutic benefits, or which depicts the consumption of alcohol whilst potentially dangerous activities are being undertaken will be disqualified.
  3. 11. OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: As between each entrant and MoM, MoM shall own all rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights) in any image and/or text post which is entered into #WhiskySanta. Entrants waive all moral rights in the image, video or text to which they are or become entitled under Chapter IV of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (or any similar right or entitlement anywhere in the world).
  4. 12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: MoM does not accept any responsibility for any wishes that are delayed, lost or otherwise not communicated, or which are which are incorrectly submitted using different hashtags, or did not tag the correct username/handle, or which are not publicly visible or are removed from social media for any reason before the end of #WhiskySanta promotional period, regardless of cause including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. MoM shall not be responsible for any purchase which does not qualify you for entry for any reason (for example, due to technical error, payment error or connection failure). MoM shall not be responsible for delivery of any prize to an incorrect address. Insofar as is permitted by law, MoM, its agents, employees, and/or representatives shall be responsible or liable to compensate any entrant and/or winner for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with their participation in #WhiskySanta (including in taking up any prize), except where caused by the proven negligence of MoM, its agents, employees, and/or authorised representatives. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
  5. 13. GENERAL: All decisions relating to #WhiskySanta will be made in MoM’s absolute discretion and will be final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into. MoM confirms that #WhiskySanta is not sponsored or endorsed by the social media platform identified herein and said social media platforms are in no way affiliated to or associated with MoM. By participating in #WhiskySanta, you agree to release that social media channel from any and all liability related to #WhiskySanta. These terms shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
