Created by Van Ryn's, who founded their distillery in 1905. The brandies they make are distilled from Chenin Blanc and Colombard grapes.
Soft, gentle and surprisngly smooth and mellow.
I couldn't tell you about taste notes but having drunk another brandy from Van Ryn's I bought a sample of this bottle based on the only review on here, now I have a bottle. Simply a great brandy, you will not be disappointed with this bottle.
A sample was bought to add to Christmas cake recipe but on tasting decided it was far too good to do so! A full bottle of this superbly mellow Brandy will have to be purchased.
