The Torres 30 Jaime I. Spanish Brandy features an incredible blend of some of their old stocks, including some made using Parellada grapes (which they use in the Torres 10) which has been aged further for occasions like this. It also includes spirit made with Folle Blanche grapes and distilled in 1972. Very handsomely presented, too, of course.
Amazing Brandy. Nice and smooth. I am a Rum drinker and I chanced getting a bottle of this Brandy and was well impressed. Worth the money, Just about to order my 3rd bottle since Christmas.
I have been drinking this gem for over a decade now. It is imported to Australia by Negociants Australia, part of the Samuel Smith & Son/Yalumba group. It is complex, rich, nutty, driven by fruit & caramel on the nose, along with that amazing & indefineable 'Rancio' character, with a fruit driven mid palate, showing signs of pears, spice, caramel & a pure, simple but delicious 'grapiness'. The finish is long, dry, spicy & moreish.
This has replaced many many different brandies to become my go to end of meal brandy. Warm a cognac glass, pour yourself a generous portion and leave to warm slightly - traditionally over a glass of hot water, but I find it’s quite convenient to rest on an open brewing cafetière of coffee. It’s not a Brandy de Jerez, so it avoids that sickly sweetness often associated with Spanish brandies. Highly recommend.
My favourite brandy and if you're a fan of sherried whiskys this is an excellent malternative. Christmas in a glass but not sickly sweet like some Spanish brandies.
I received my order in time I'm thank you that was a good service
