At the apex of the spectacular Carlos I selection of Spanish brandies sits their Imperial XO expression. Aged in a Solera system featuring casks that previously held Oloroso and Amontillado Sherries, this expression has been made using brandies that have age for up to 20 years!
Earthy and rich at first, with tobacco and old oak up front. As it develops, sweetness of fresh figs, dates and a hint of raspberry arrives on the palate. Caramel-coated nuts and clove heat.
I did say that we would be back for more. Having offered a glass for long tome friends, I have ended up getting a bottle for them - as they thought it was the best brandy that they had ever tasted.
This is our, (the family that is !) favourite brandy, which comes from our many, many vacations and business trips in Spain. So lots of memories that go with the super smooth flavour of this brandy. We will be back for more.

It's unmistakably spanish brandy from the nose to the first sip when you get that 'earthy' (as summed up perfectly by the MoM Notes) taste, and as a fan of sherry bomb whisky this makes a great alternative. The bottling and cork are thick & heavy, usually a sign of quality and it doesnt let you down. great stuff
Fantastic! Such weight. I’m new to brandy & started with samples but this is the best I’ve tasted & bought a bottle. Love it.
