Orange peel, rose petals, and honeyed apricot, with a soft undercurrent of vanilla and milk chocolate. Slight herbal lift in the background.
Sweet spice, candied citrus, dark chocolate, and dried figs. The Muscat influence shines through with a gently floral, almost grapey richness.

Sublime but subtle, floral and herb flavours definitely dominate. I enjoy a good VSOP or XO but this is unlike anything I've ever tried. I would love to taste this in a Xmas pudding! I'm disappointed that the maximum score I can give it is 5 stars - it deserves 12. ABV 40%.
Quite simply outstanding. Warm fruity flavours invite you to drink far more of this spirit than is good for you. Heavy on the raisins and a slight honey finish, this drink is a must for any discerning drinker.
I have no desire to drink any of the lower number of stars, just the 12 Star. The very best. Period.
