Lepanto Solera Gran Reserve, produced by Gonzalez Byass, possesses a great deal of character within it stylish bottle. The brandy itself is produced exclusively using Palomino grapes and is aged for years in Fino casks within a Solera system, where it develops a rich, unctuous profile that ripples with ripe berries, baking spices and indulgent oak.
Another excellent brandy from Lepanto. A delicious digestif.
I was prepared to buy this when it was at £47, why the massive price hike? My sis just picked up a btl in duty free on the way back from holidays in Spain for €23... At that price its a crackin Brandy, has kind of a menthol / licorice back note goin on hidden behind the rasin & vanilla. It's really soft & smooth, however the lack of abv doesn't mean a lack of flavour.
£56 reduced to £47...? This was £47 proper with no special offer b4 Xmas This is no special offer at all! Gasslighting at it's finest, Tesco's would be proud. ;D
Honestly delicious stuff with all that’s good about brandy and Sherry in one fairly sweet but satisfying mouthful. I’ve stopped buying French after someone gave me this.
On of the nicest Spanish Brandy I have tasted. Great value for the money.
