Bought this as a 'house' brandy (for cocktails and cooking etc.) to replace a bottle of St Remy XO which I didn't really rate. It's genuinely, unbelievably good. A bottle of this will never not be on our shelves! Brimming with rich flavour and depth, it's very, very drinkable.
For myself I had seen reviews of how smooth this drink is and it set up my expectations. While drinkable, particularly with a mixer, I find it a little too fiery. Unfortunately this is typical of most brandy at the moment so continuing to search for a good smooth brandy that I can drink neat.
