Red grape skin, cooked plum, dark berries and oily nuts.
Love it . Warm , smooth , doesn't catch your throat , just plain sheer enjoyment.
Have enjoyed Asbach since 1969 whilst living in Germany. I visited their site in Rüdesheim. Why change the name? As a pensioner I still enjoy Asbach, Moved to my current house recently & fortunately for me my local wine shop sell the stuff.
Uralt means ancient. 3 Years old isn't ancient. I love Asbach though.
At £30 a bottle this is over priced If you’re going to buy and Brandy from Asbach buy the 15 year old as this gives you the best quality to £ ratio have tasted their whole range whilst visiting there distillery at Rudesheim price in Euro for the 15 year old was 39 euro with the ultra coming in at less than 20
Discovered this when posted to Germany with the military. Delicious. Difficult to find in the UK but becoming more available very slowly.....
