Relaunched under a new name, Asbach's popular 3 year old German grape brandy, formerly known as 'Uralt', is matured in Limousin oak casks and has a fruity, tangy character.
Red grape skin, cooked plum, dark berries and oily nuts.
I used to live in Germany & visited many times as I'm ex military, Asbach brandy has always & will be a favourite for military, its really smooth, smells nice & tastes good, not to strong that it burns your throat, can drink it straight or with coke
It's not formerly known as 'Uralt', Uralt means 'ancient'. This costs about 15 Euro a Litre in Germany.
