Sam Smith spent a year lugging boxes around a booze warehouse in Somerset after finishing a Creative Writing degree. Then he found a better use for both skills and joined the Master of Malt content team.
For almost a decade he spun his particular brand of word magic at MoM Towers. After some back-of-the-envelope maths, we reckon his spirits writing contains well over three times as many words as Shakespeare’s works, and he managed it in a fraction of the time.
Smith enjoys a good Sazerac and spends his spare time going to gigs and making salsa. This is not the famous singer. That Sam Smith can sing. This one cannot.
