Kamm & Sons
Kamm & Sons excellent Ginseng Spirit has been relaunched as Kamm & Sons British Aperitif - still containing 45 botanicals (such as grapefruit peel, manuka honey, elderflower, juniper berries, fennel seeds, herbal echinacea, hibiscus, goji berries and, of course, ginseng). As well as a smart change of name, it now also comes in a larger 70cl bottle.
Ginseng and bitter citrus notes, grapefruit perhaps? There are also pronounced botanicals here, hard to pinpoint exactly what but it's definitely herby. Pine cones too.
This tastes rather good for you; lots of herbs, sweetened with honey. There is a bitter, woody note which grounds the experience nicely.
A lengthy bitterness that is pleasantly drying and savoury.
A unique and intriguing spirit, and a great aperitif.

Peaty taste like i had in Drambuie will have to look it out.
