Kweichow Maotaizhen
A 5-year-old sauce aroma Baijiu from the Kweichow Maotaizhen brand - a well-known brand for those in the know when it comes to Baijiu. Very popular in China, but not exported much, Baijiu is made using sorghum and can be combined with several other grains, including wheat, barley, corn and rice. This one is made with sorghum and wheat with a fermentation period that takes one year before final distillation with solid-state fermentation using Qu (cultivated bacteria & fungi), before being matured for five years in terracotta pots.
