Showing off the brilliance of Bas-Armagnac comes this VSOP expression from Château du Tariquet. A blend of 60% Ugni Blanc and 40% Baco grapes bring plenty of fruity character, whilst gentle maturation imparts delicately woody, nutty depth. The label is rather snazzy too, makes us want to listen to some jazz with a glass after dinner.
Plenty of juicy sultanas, prunes, and dates with toasty notes of gingerbread. Silky smooth vanilla and honeyed fruit balance hints of old leather and dusty oak.
