Tried several Aquavits on recent trip to Copenhagen and liked this the best
In my opinion the best Aquavit there is. It does have a more rounded taste compared to any of the mainstream Aquavit like Linie or Skåne Aquavit or any of the others. It has less of a spirit taste compared to the others. Back home in Sweden we always have a new comparison at our traditional crayfish parties in August and it surely is the go-to Aquavit.
I like it but I was angered today at Stockholm Airport duty free when I was told that because Anderson wanted to maintain their marketing monopoly in the EU, I could not take a bottle on my flight. This is the worst kind of customer relations. I, for example, will now shift to another brand.
I've had better moonshine than this stuff! Definitively not what its all cracked up to be. These other review's must be by novice enthusiasts. I got a bottle of it cause of the great review's. I have been mixing it with rack vodka with to to mellow out the grain alcohol after bight. Will not be ordering this again.
30ml sample in advent calendar. Clean spirit with big hit of caraway. Dry finish. Not sweet. Not familiar with aquavit, not sure I could drink a lot but perhaps because it’s a new drink.
